About me
-
Hi, my name is Mia Goddard, and I’m currently a Marketing & Communications Intern with the Gateway PGA Junior Tour. I create digital content, manage social media, design marketing materials, produce photo and video content, and support email marketing to help promote junior golf. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Business Administration and a focus in marketing and communications. Through internships and hands-on experience, I’ve built skills in digital marketing, content creation, visual design, and strategic communication using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Mailchimp, and Shopify. I’m passionate about storytelling, community engagement, and creating meaningful connections through strategic communication.

In the spring of 2025, I completed the Global Career Accelerator, earning certifications in Digital Marketing and SEO, along with badges in Digital Ads, E-commerce, and Intercultural Skills. The program strengthened my communication, marketing, and design skills through hands-on projects, including building a website.
As a Marketing & Communications Intern with the Gateway PGA, I've further developed those skills by creating digital content, managing social media, producing photo and video content, designing marketing materials, and supporting email marketing campaigns.

I’m passionate about using digital marketing and storytelling to connect people with meaningful experiences. I enjoy creating content that feels thoughtful, clear, and intentional—whether that’s through visual design, email campaigns, or written communication.
I value creativity that’s grounded in strategy and enjoy staying organized while working with others. I’m especially drawn to work that supports community engagement, youth development, and mission-driven organizations, and I’m most motivated by projects where thoughtful communication helps stories connect with the right audience and make a real impact.
